Arizona Walk for Autism

It was a wonderful, yet very warm 94 degrees on Sunday, November 4, at the Arizona Walk Now for Autism, hosted by Autism Speaks and the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), as over 7,000 walkers came together at Tempe Beach Park, raising over $550,000. Thanks to all of my dear friends who walked with me, raised money or donated money!

 

 

 

 

Leaving this morning...

for hot and sunny AZ! Going to spend some time with all of my best friends. I'm a lucky gal. Sunday is our Walk Now for Autism and at this time we have raised $6277.00!!!! I can't believe it. Thank you again to all of you who helped out. I'm so grateful.

Happy Halloween!

The boys carved so many pumpkins this year and they got so creative! The green witchy-poo pumpkin is mine. Nick created the Grieving Pumpkin, the Imprisoned Pumpkin and the Cannibal pumpkin. Joe created the Exploding Eyeball Pumpkin, the Mummy Pumpkin, the Puking Pumpkin (my personal favorite!), and the Cyclops Pumpkin.

for Red Sox Nation! A four game sweep of the Colorado Rockies in the World Series. Doesn't get much better than that. My third favorite Puerto Rican (next to Denise and Alina!) Mike Lowell was the MVP!! Yippee! Now the withdrawals set in. Only five more months until Opening Day!

Pumpkin Patch

 

 

 

 

Here are a few pictures from the pumpkin patch last weekend. It was such a beautiful day. I love the picture of the tractor for the hayride because you can see the SNOW on the mountain tops!

Sox are up 2 games to zip. Now we go to Colorado and that will be tough. Go Sox.

Tonight is my friend Loni's HUGE Halloween party. We have been working on our costumes for weeks and I can't wait to show you pictures tomorrow!! The theme of the party is to dress as famous people and let me just give you this little hint...

I am so happy yet so sad...

I am a transplanted Bostonian, proud, die-hard member of Red Sox Nation, living in Idaho. Tonight is game one of the World Freaking Series, and although it is a huge deal to me, nobody here even knows it is happening! I subscribe to NESN (New England Sports Network) and watch almost all of the 162 regular season games. This may sound extreme but when you are a Sox fan you are born into it. It is in your blood. It is your heritage. I love baseball and I would be watching the World Series tonight regardless of my Red Sox being in it. I called every friend I know tonight in Boston. Left messages with all of them, because they probably didn't hear their phone above the roar of the crowd in the bars of Beantown. I am so homesick and wish I was in Boston among the fans where I belong. Anybody out there a Sox fan? Or even a diehard fan of a team where you can relate?

Girlie Girl

Being a mom to three boys, I don't often get to do girly scrapbook layouts so I'm always getting pictures of Denise's daughter Sarah! These are more pictures by Stacie Petrini. She is so good! Denise sent me the new Noteworthy collection from Making Memories and can I just say, WOW. One of my all time favorite lines! Here is what I did with it.
